WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY– 2024
#Land Restoration,Desertification and Drought Resilience
 
Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Program Center (EIACP) at National Botanical Research Institute celebrated “World Environment Day” on 5th June 2024 in collaboration with Integral University, CSIR-JIGYASA, Navyug Kanya Mahavidyalaya and Prithivi Innovations, was hosted at the Lotus auditorium of CSIR-NBRI, K.N. Kaul Block.

On the global theme of "Land restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience", the event activities were majorly focused on the importance of protecting and restoring land resources. “Dr. Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, Senior Principal Scientist” and Co-ordinator of the “EIACP-NBRI Programme Centre” oriented participants about the importance to celebrate the “World Environment Day” and its current theme with “#GenerationRestoration.”
