International day of biological diversity with theme of “From Agreement to Action: Build Back Biodiversity” celebrated by NBRI-EIACP on May 22, 2023. The program had awareness lecture session as well as online quiz competition to sensitize the students about protection and management of biodiversity in obtaining sustainable development of resources.
A very informative and mesmerizing lecture was delivered by Dr. Sanjeeva Nayaka (Chief Scientist CSIR-NBRI Lucknow) on the topic “Diversity and distribution of Lichen in India” through a web session.
Total 179 students actively participated in quiz competition from all over India from different states and cities.The quiz competition was conducted in online mode.
