Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Program Center (EIACP) at National Botanical Research Institute celebrated “Van Mahotsava” on 12th July 2023 in collaboration with 3 UP Naval Unit NCC, Lucknow.
Dr Anju Patel, Scientist of CSIR-NBRI and Co-coordinator of NBRI-EIACP centre, welcomed the Commanding Officer, Capt. Navendu Saxena along with all the NCC cadets of the 3 UP naval unit.
A total of 65 cadets participated in the plantation drive and awareness activity of Mission LiFE organized by NBRI-EIACP and the 3 UP Naval unit NCC.
Around 100 trees had been planted by NCC cadets, staff and the NBRI-EIACP team. Trees belonged to different species namely Dalbergia sissoo, Psidium guajava, Citrus limon etc.
