One Week One Lab Programme of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), aims at highlighting India's global excellence in technology, innovation and start-ups. In this campaign, each of CSIR’s 37 constituent laboratories, spread a nationwide showcase of their legacy, exclusive innovations, and technological breakthroughs every successive week. During the campaign, each CSIR lab organizes week-long events, including industry & start-up meetings, students connect, society connect, and display of technologies.
The third week of August (14th August 2023- 19th August 2023) was the dedicated week for CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, under which, CSIR-NBRI showcased the achievements and work for the society, industry and farmers.
The OWOL program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Dr. (Mrs.) N. Kalaiselvi, Secretary, Department of Scientific & Industrial Research, Ministry of Science & Technology, Gov. of India & Director-General, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi, on 14th August 2023, while the Guest of Honour for the event was Shri Mahendra Kumar Gupta, Joint Secretary, Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi.
