An exhibition was jointly organized by National Botanical Research Institute and Lucknow Municipal Corporation on 5-6 March 2016, which displayed the importance of Plants in the control of Pollution. The general public was informed about the different pollution occurring outside and indoor. The plants which can help to alleviate pollution were displayed and people were informed about their environmental remediation properties. Newsletters published by ENVIS-National Botanical Research Institute (ENVIS-NBRI) and pamphlets with information about the different plants which help to remediate pollution were distributed.
