ENVIS RP-NBRI celebrated ‘World Environment day’ on 8th June, 2019. The theme of this occasion was “Air pollution”. Prof. S.K. Barik, Director, CSIR-NBRI welcomed the Chief Guest Dr. A.A. Mao, Director, Botanical Survey of India. Dr. Mao elaborated the importance of biodiversity especially for Rhododendron. On this occasion, prize has been distributed to winners of Environment Quiz that was organized by Dr. Vivek Pandey, Sr. Principal Scientist, CSIR-NBRI. ENVIS RP-NBRI team members explained the ENVIS activity to hon’ble Chief Guest and provide him the copies of ENVIS RP-NBRI Newsletters.
