ENVIS-RP-NBRI celebrated "World Ozone Day-2021" on 16th September 2021. On this occasion ENVIS-RP-NBRI organised a Webinar on the topic “Ozone: The Good, the Bad and its Consequences on Environment” by Dr. Richa Rai, Senior Scientist, CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow.
The theme of World Ozone Day-2021 was Montreal protocol - keeping us, our food and vaccines cool. Dr. Richa emphasised on the different aspects like Montreal Protocol, Depletion of Ozone layer, Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS),Adoption of CFC/HCFC free substances in our daily life, current status of the ozone hole.
The programme was hosted by Dr. Anju Patel, Scientist & Co-Coordinator andvote of thanks was given by Mr. Sunil Tripathi, Sr. Programme Officer, ENVIS-RP-NBRI at the end of the programme. Mr. Diwakar Saini, Information Officer, ENVIS-RP-NBRI was the moderator of the event. The webinar was held on the Google Meet Platform.
