Interaction with students about ENVIS RP-NBRI in collaboration with CSIR-Jigyasa (17th February and 18th February 2022)
Under the Jigyasa programme, students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Gomti Nagar, Lucknow visited CSIR-NBRI on 17 February and 18 February 2022. These students had been introduced to the importance and role of ENVIS RP-NBRI along with the recent research going in NBRI, were briefed before them. Besides, the application of "Green Planner" was also explained. Lecture on ‘Effect of microplastic in terrestrial environment’ was presented by Dr Anju Patel, Scientist & Co-coordinator. ENVIS RP-NBRI team members actively participated in explaining the role of plants in mitigating pollution. ENVIS RP-NBRI-Newsletters and Brochures have been distributed to the teachers as well as to the students.
