The two day event of Flower Show was organized in the lush green open central lawn of the botanic garden of CSIR-NBRI during 20th -21st Jan 2018. The chief guest of flower show inauguration was Dr. Rupak De Principal Chief Conservator of Forest Govt. of U. P. visited the stall of ENVIS-NBRI. Dr. De has taken keen interest in the activity of ENVIS-NBRI and discussed the domain of ENVIS-NBRI in detail.

ENVIS-NBRI has displayed its quarterly newsletters, case studies, bibliography and 14 educational posters on different sub-themes of Plants & Pollution. A total of 250 visitors have registered themselves for taking knowledge and resolving their queries about mitigating the environmental pollution using plants. Visitors appreciated the efforts of ENVIS-NBRI, especially Green Planner Android App.

The event was concluded with visit of Maj. Gen. Behera, Chief Guest of valedictory function of the flower show. The outreach programme of ENVIS-NBRI was appreciated by some other significant visitor viz., Dr. RC Sobti Vice Chancellor, Babasaheb Ambedkar University, Lucknow, etc.
